Track Name: An Easy Heart to Break

Every time she wakes
she finds herself alone
all day she looks for love
tired from being unknown
her mystery is what it takes

Dreams of a yellow snake
finds no stepping stone
the river is wide and deep
she cries out and birds moan:
it’s an easy heart to break

Oh, she tries
tells herself wicked lies
later on she cries
tears will wet your chin
when you’re chasing the wind
fear gets under your skin
Track Name: Lonely Parade

I have my way around words, but not around you
my thoughts find their way, maybe one day this will do too
when closing my eyes it slips out my hands
I’m followed by angels to unknown lands

No need to push, I’m walking on icy slopes
searching for something, dragging on hopes

not lonely or lost, nor bitter but split
what’s on the other side, I so long to see it!

Unfinished paintings and songs without melody
abandoned by someone, now lying there restlessly
searching the landscape for a signpost to follow
what can a soap bubble do to fill what feels hollow?
Track Name: All the Ghosts I Know

Stormy weather runs by my home again
and I am trying but my trying is in vain
the cold wind blows through the naked trees
an icy choir waving back at me

No I’m not calm
got nowhere to run to
falling through the night

A clouded mind stays here with me once more
all the ghosts I know are standing by the door
the terror shakes me each and every night
I wish that you could see the beast I have to fight

If someone or the sun
could warm my frozen soul
collect what fear took apart
reveal what’s hidden in the dark

She’s the one, she’s the sun
who heals my broken soul
collects what fear took apart
reveals what’s hidden in the dark

The dawn breaks through, chases my fears away
nothing I can do, nothing you can say
the doors unlock, shadows dance in the morning light
those silent moves, what a mystifying sight
Track Name: The Mustang

Wanna be on a raft with you
and drift around on top of the blue
watching the creatures below and above
feel how the sea and air make love

If I had learned how to walk on water
I would have my sea legs carry me back to the shore
If the wind was calm and I could see my reflection
I would ask it to answer this question:
what’s beyond my horizon?

Slowly float down a mountain stream
find myself another day in a dream
excuse me if you find this confusing
but that’s what I see when I’m cruising
Track Name: Black Cat Woman

A joyride with a left turn
then a slow blues turnaround
a smile from one of a kind
my thoughts spread all over the ground

Do you follow fate is what she wants to know
my black cat woman, do you follow fate?

I was thinking about death
in fact right from the start
as one might expect
that didn’t really drive us apart

Do you go all alone is what she wants to know
my black cat woman, do you go all alone?
Track Name: Wild at Heart

She left to wonderland, left me a wondering man
all my goodbyes, they come too easy, no crying eyes
born around ’83, that’s when the gypsies stole me
adopted no, I came along with rough times you know

On an island in the sun
where I don’t mind being alone
all the birds have flown
while my feet stood firmly on the ground

Always felt gravity, pulled harder on me
so I am strong, a hard one to move, to push along
open doors for fresh air, rest in the electric chair
how to scare, a determined soul with just one care
Track Name: It's Tomorrow

I walk wearing 7 mile shoes and here’s the news:
peace has left and my main concern,
is life without it I want it to return

Ain’t nobody’s perfect, that’s the human touch
we’re the desperate ones, who love too many, love too much

There comes a time to turn around, put your arms to the ground
early birds singing, sounds like a warning
when I get up and go in the morning

Too many, too many times, I’ve let you down
Track Name: Howlin' Moon

Mama said work hard, take your medication
Doctor helps you keep the concentration
I’m out the window at the count of two
‘cause it’s a dirty lie and I’m not gonna ride

One-eyed old moon, tell me can’t you see
I am one of those who have to run free
lonesome full moon calls me out at night
and I believe it’s my time to step into the light

I howl at the moon and I howl at you
trust your instincts, baby, just be cool
let’s do the rumble, honey, all night long
trust me when I tell you it’ll be alright
Track Name: Watching Dust Fall

Watching the dust fall and time blur out the days
sleepwalking till you see there are so many ways
and day in and day out the rainbow is out there
shining color in between the sun and the white cloud

And if the sun will only show me shade
I’ll keep saying to myself, now it’s time to turn the page
they’re giving out orders to everyone and you
don’t wanna shrink my soul, I’ve seen it tried and true
Track Name: Fading Soul

I heard the guy next door
as he bumped to the floor
it was early morning
he’d done that before
this time it came with a different touch
at that point I didn’t think of it much
surely the guy is heavy and tough
but who knows when someone has had enough

Roaming the streets after dark
jump to conclusions on small remarks
the sinister guy in every scene
he found himself a bad routine
hiding his life in the shade
one of those that is sure to fade

He got another stone when he died
it says: here lies a man that tried
but never escaped the rising tide
never came across the great divide

Maybe someone stole his heart of gold
replaced it with something empty and cold
let’s just say it didn’t feel right
when dark clouds came rolling in that night
a big shot having a mean tattoo
still he knew there was nothing to do
