Harry Harrison I already had their first album 'Perception’ & hadn’t realised that The Sonic Dawn’ were in Bandcamp until just now. They’ve always be one of my favourite psych bands and this album has just cemented that opinion. Lovin’ the super trippy Beatles-esque back-masking & song structure. Unlike their first offering, this one requires a couple of listens before you truly appreciate it & then it just gets better after each listen. It’s some of the creamiest Heavy Psych out there. Favorite track: Numbers Blue.

StrangeFlow Boy I love this album far more than I can say. Super summer vibes and jimi hendrix and james bond style and sweet guitaring!! Yeah! Favorite track: Summer Voyage.

Emily Lemon 04:54
Jack of Diamonds had a daughter like none she was born down on highway sixty-one her first mother was a famous gypsy queen who gave her red lips and made one eye green because her love was rich, plenty and sweet the name Emily Lemon could balance the sheet I’ve heard what she said as a child: “Now I can see inside you and me fear not if I fall in no time at all the ground will go soft if I smile” In a game of chess with Houdini, she won then outran the Devil and kept moving on she never found a reason to hold nothing in words of hers easily slipped under my skin she brought the sound of the universe here and for me she made a mountain disappear Here’s what she said, it was wild: “Now I will choose to loosen the noose they put on your neck the day when they said that you were no longer a child”
3.
On the Shore 03:56
There I am only a man who feels that I should know better turn around eyes to the ground those words could make out a letter Eyes are bright smiles are tight I’m paper folding a boat down the stream like a dream floating with words that I wrote Please, please, please let me find life for my love please, please, please let me find life for my love From my hand I understand my heart is leading this pen I will say lose our way I like the change that we’re in Two, not three lost in the sea like tears disappear in the rain day will break us wide awake if we’re on the shore once again Please, please, please let me find life for my love please, please, please let me find life for my love

As of lately I’ve been turning my head around trying to see clearly what it is that is weighing me down I’ll let them stare through the cold and silent air and the feeling that I get, will make me aware I still hear them when there’s no one here tales told just to fill me with fear Since just this morning I have looked them in the eyes living the cornes of my mind all I will offer is a compromise all I will offer is a compromise I’ll let them stare through the cold and silent air and the feeling that I get, will make me aware I still hear them when there’s no one here tales told just to fill me with fear
5.
Six Seven 05:07
Six horsemen came to take him out he knew what they were going to bring about his dreams and the truth ran down the drain the river turned bleak in a hushed complain When passing the trees behind silent hill night fell thick and seven horses stood still fear twisted his soul and he became hollow where he now rides, death will follow Get in line and listen to Uncle Sam: A dead man’s body doesn’t give a damn lost lives might be for your eyes to see but better it be him, than you and me
6.
Numbers Blue 04:26
The roots go deep but I move far and wide there’s a kick to my boots and I have nothing to hide I walk to a guy in a suit and ask him if it’s true that just below the bottom line it’s blood that makes the numbers blue Whatever you’ve got has got you too what you don’t like doesn't like you too if all you want is more it’s long overdue more doesn’t want to give anymore to you To the guys wearing neckties say, I’ve got something to tell all the water that we drink is drawn from the same well Do you hear me, money man did you understand that line? If everybody drank like you, the water would be drained from cloud nine Whatever you’ve got has got you too what you don’t like doesn’t like you too If all you want is more it’s long overdue more doesn’t want to give anymore to you
7.
Early morning and I’m not at all dead the sun shines at half the house as if to say, there’s a day ahead Bells ring loud from an empty church lights left on in my local morgue as if to say, you can always emerge One side of the moon was left dark just for me the bottom left hard to reach in the deepest sea the sun’s burning just to keep me away but I move closer every night and all day I don’t remember my lover’s name she’s got golden hair and sleeps with a smile as if to say, it’s all the same... but it’s not One side of the moon was left dark just for me the bottom left hard to reach in the deepest sea the sun’s burning just to keep me away but I move closer every night and all day I know today I’ve got something to do my heart drives me like a locomotive as if to say, let’s go somewhere new
8.
l'Espion 04:15
She asks me, what are you like, and says, There’s no point to hide it I look at my arm but there’s no watch I never really liked the box and that’s why I never tried it No telling how it came to be looking at you, I think I can see straight through the skin and to the bone no secrets left to call your own She asks me, what’s that you wear, and says, So peculiar, and smiling I look at myself and my shade empty words make colors fade and that’s why I can be silent No telling how it came to be looking at you, I think I can see straight through the skin and to the bone no secrets left to call your own

Today is the day my ship comes in under the melting sky I see clouds spin I touch the grass and I feel everything Once at the horizon but now I am here since today this will be everywhere from now on always never not there Somehow everyone I see makes it very clear to me that they are all exactly where they want to be that they are all exactly where they want to be that they are all exactly where they want to be Their foreign words I understand as they talk I see the world expand a new beginning is born in this unknown land Patience my love, she says to me don't let your life pass by so easily as the blue sun rises I come to agree Somehow everyone I see makes it very clear to me that they are all exactly where they want to be that they are all exactly where they want to be that they are all exactly where they want to be
